Captain Blood, the classic 1935 Michael Curtiz (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) Jamaica romantic swashbuckling high seas pirate ship ocean adventure thriller ("Caps the all!"; "By Rafael Sabatini"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Errol Flynn (in the title role as Irish doctor Peter Blood), Olivia De Havilland, Basil Rathbone, Ross Alexander, Guy Kibbee, Henry Stephenson, Robert Barrat, Hobart Cavanaugh, Lionel Atwill, George Hassell, and J. Carrol Naish. Note that Errol Flynn had had a few bit parts prior to this movie, but Robert Donat dropped out of this movie at the last minute, and Warner Bros. decided that Flynn was ready for stardom, and they sure were right!

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some folds, with minor border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but there is a small area on the back of the bottom of the poster, where the linen is slightly separating from the poster. You can solely see it from the back, and it does not show from the front, and any restorer could re-glue that small area without re-backing the poster.
