Dixie Chicks are a Grammy Award-winning female country music band from 1989 to the present, comprised of singer Natalie Maines, Emily Robison and Martie Maguire and some of their works include: Thank Heavens for Dale Evans, Goodbye Earl, Fly, and Taking the Long Way. They courted controversy in 2003 when Maines criticized the Iraq War and then-president George W. Bush, but have remained popular, in spite of a persistent radio blacklisting.
