Priestly") starring Boris Karloff (billed as "Karloff"), Melvyn Douglas, Gloria Stuart, Charles Laughton, Lilian Bond, Ernest Thesiger, Eva Moore, Raymond Massey, Brember Wills, and Elspeth Dudgeon (billed as "John Dudgeon"). Note that Elspeth Dudgeon (in her screen debut) was disguised as a man in the film and even billed under a male pseudonym. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this card has been graded and authenticated by mpgrading.com. This means that a corner of the card has been "encrypted with a unique 9-digit serial number with invisible DNA-laced ink", which can be seen with a special scanner, and this info has been attached to a separate Certificate of Authenticity. On that certificate, the card ha been given a grade of "very fine+ (9)", but of course, that grading scale is not the same as ours, and on ours, we grade this card as "very good to fine" (see below). Condition: very good to fine. There is a faint crease in the left of the top border and a 1/2" tear in the lower left blank border, but the card is otherwise in nice condition! There is a small stamp on the back from the "Argosy Book Shop" in California and two small stamps saying the card was the "Property of F.M CHODKOWSKI". There is also a tiny sticker on the back that says Chodkowski's name and address (apparently he had hopes that if the card was ever stolen, someone might use that sticker to return it to him!). Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
