An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog, the 1927 Alfred Hitchcock English silent serial killer murder horror thriller starring Marie Ault, Arthur Chesney, June Tripp (billed as "June"), Malcolm Keen, and Ivor Novello (in the title role as The Lodger). Note that this was Alfred Hitchcock's very first suspense thriller (his third real movie, made in 1927), and Ivor Novello played the "Jack the Ripper"-like character (in 1935, the movie was remade by a different director, but Novello played the lead in both versions)! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Condition: good. The still was used in a newspaper or magazine and there are grey and white accent paint marks in the figures of the stars (mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light).
