An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Strange Case of Doctor Rx, the 1942 William Nigh Universal horror crime mystery ("Follow him -- at the Risk of Insanity!"; "Find him -- and you'll never return!") starring Patric Knowles, Lionel Atwill, Anne Gwynne, Mona Barrie, Paul Cavanagh, Samuel S. Hinds, Shemp Howard, Mantan Moreland, and Ray Corrigan (as the uncredited ape "Nbongo"!). Note that Crash Corrigan made a REALLY wise investment in the 1930s, when he bought a "gorilla suit". In many of the movies in the 1940s where there is a fake gorilla, it is played by Crash Corrigan, no doubt because he could supply the suit! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned three examples of this title card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. There are some tiny brown stains scattered throughout the card, including in the images of the stars. There is darkening in the top and right borders, with creases and smudges around the edges. There is surface paper loss on the back of each corner where tape was removed. Please look at our super-sized images to get a good sense of the exact condition of this card.
