Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was folded once in each direction and it had minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, but at some point after it was backed, it was roughly handled (or perhaps damaged in a mailing tube), and it received to slightly diagonal creases, one running down the right 8" of the poster, and one running down the left 8", both in the poster and the linen. It is very fortunate that neither crease is very noticeable from the front of the poster, and I think the vast majority of collectors would be happy to display this poster on the wall just as it is, but please bear this unusual defect in mind before placing a bid on this poster.
