An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Touch of Evil, the classic 1958 Orson Welles Mexico drugs crooked policeman revenge crime film noir thriller ("The story of the strangest vengeance ever planned!"; based on the novel 'Badge of Evil' by Whit Masterson) starring Charlton Heston, Janet Leigh, Orson Welles, Joseph Calleia, Akim Tamiroff, Marlene Dietrich ("She felt his touch - once, and never forgot it!"), Zsa Zsa Gabor (Dietrich & Gabor billed as "'With Guest Stars' Marlene Dietrich, Zsa Zsa Gabor"), Joanna Moore, Akim Tamiroff, Valentin de Vargas, and Victor Millan. Note that this movie was re-released in 1998, finally re-edited to satisfy the changes Orson Welles requested in a memo he wrote to the studio right after its first release when he found out the film had been cut. It took 40 years, but Welles' original vision was mostly restored. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Bob Tollen Condition: good. The poster has creases and faint stains scattered down the right, with pinholes and creases around the edges. Someone put paper tape on the front and back of the top right corner, on the front of the top left corner, and on the back of the bottom corners. There is paper tape on the front and back of the center of the top and bottom borders and paper tape on the back of the right ends of the top and bottom folds. There is a piece of paper tape on the back of a pinhole that was in the top left background area, where there was tiny paper loss. The above defects can certainly be corrected during linenbacking, but bear all of the above in mind before bidding on this poster. Learn More about condition grades
