Heffron silent romantic love triangle comedy ("Cutting loose from convention"; about a woman torn between a "respectable businessman" and a "futuristic poet" who lives in an art colony, but not surprisingly for the time, it turns out the poet is a creep who is married with children, and his wife catches him seducing the girl, who runs back to her respectable businessman) starring Wanda Hawley, William Boyd, Adele Farrington, Leigh Wyant, and Jane Starr. Note that this movie dealt with the then current craze of women wearing short hair, something that had not happened for an incredibly long time, if at all (of course, by the late 1920s, a high percentage of women had their hair short!). Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: good. Only one pane of glass is present, and there is no black tape around the edges. It has staining around the edges (see our image). This can be cleaned and repaired by a professional or talented amateur, but please do not bid on this slide unless you can accept its defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
