An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked British Quad Movie Poster (measures approximately 30" x 40") (Learn More) Blood on the Moon, the 1949 Robert Wise romantic cowboy western ("Blood Runs Free...when Mitchum thunders right into the savage heart of the bloodiest range war ever to Explode on the screen!"; "He met his match, and his fate, in her arms!"; "A woman's bullet kills as quick as a man's!"; "When there's Blood on the Moon ...death lurks in the Shadows!"; "Straight from the rip-roaring pages of the famous Saturday Evening Post serial story of blood and thunder int he old West!"; "Cold nerve and hot lead..."; from the novel by Luke Short) starring Robert Mitchum ("Mitchum's got plenty of both as he storms into the heart of the bloodiest range war ever to explode on the screen!"), Barbara Bel Geddes, Robert Preston, Walter Brennan, Phyllis Thaxter, Frank Faylen, Tom Tyler, Tom Tully, and George Cooper NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Kay Condition: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfold. There was a small area of paper loss in the horizontal foldline at the right edge of Mitchum's nose and some small tears in Mitchum's cheek above the right side of his mouth and a tiny tear in his upper lip. There were some creases and very tiny tears on some other foldlines, and some slightly diagonal creases alongside the bottom half of the vertical foldline. There was paper loss in the top left corner and some creases and tiny tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking.
