Note that in 1987, the Mohawk Paper Mills Company of New York came up with this novel way to promote their company! They created this really cool portfolio with a slipcase containing Bob Peak prints (printed on a 4-color and 5-color press on high quality paper), and these were surely reproduced directly from his artwork, and not from the posters they appeared on, plus information on the back of each print telling what movie it was for and more, and also information about Bob Peak on one of the flaps for the slipcase of the portfolio. There are some really great Bob Peak images, including the two that were used solely for German posters for Apocalypse Now, two of his Star Trek images, and more (see our images). It is so great to see the art without the titles and credits overlaid! We assume they must have paid royalties to Bob Peak, and perhaps to the movie studios. We imagine they mailed these portfolios to prospective clients, and they surely got lots of attention. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
