An Original 1939 Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14") (Learn More)

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (released in the U.S. in 1939 as "The Demon Barber of Fleet Street"), the 1936 George King English horror thriller starring Tod Slaughter ("Europe's Horror Man"; in the title role as Sweeney Todd), Stella Rho, John Singer, Eve Lister, and Bruce Seton. There had been two silent movies based on this same story (and a play written by George Dibdin-Pitt). Of course, decades later, there was a 1973 play that Stephen Sondheim adapted into the 1979 Broadway musical "Sweeney Todd", which Tim Burton made into a movie in 2007 starring Johnny Depp.

Condition: good to very good. There is tiny paper loss in the bottom blank corners. There were five small tears in the borders which were each repaired with a piece of tape from the back.
