Important Added Info: Note that this classic image of King Kong looming over the New York skyline appeared in the original theater program, but did NOT appear on any of the original lobby cards or posters. It was one color in the original program, and then this same image was used for a 1938 re-release lobby card (in full color), and again (this time one color) for a 1952 re-release lobby card, and finally, once again in full color in this great 1956 re-release lobby card! Note that we are currently auctioning the complete set of eight cards from the 1956 re-release of this classic movie (all with full-color images and great different border art!). They are in eight separate auctions! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There are pinholes in the corners and smudges and some darkening around the edges. There is a faint partial 4" horizontal crease in the upper left, going into the top of Kong's head in the border art, but it is not very noticeable at all. There are some faint water stains scattered in the upper left, most noticeable in some of the letters of the title (see our image). Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
