An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) No Time For Love, the 1943 Mitchell Leisen romantic comedy (about a beautiful reporter who accidentally causes a tunnel digger [sandhog] to be suspended from his job, so she hires him during the suspension because she feels guilty, and naturally, these completely opposite people fall madly in love!) starring Claudette Colbert, Fred MacMurray, Ilka Chase, Richard Haydn, Paul McGrath, and June Havoc. Note that this movie included a fantasy sequence where Fred MacMurray is a superhero in a costume. The costume looks very similar to that of the Fawcett comic hero Captain Marvel. No doubt this is because when Captain Marvel was created in 1939, artist C.C. Beck used Fred MacMurray as his inspiration for the character, and surely this sequence was inspired by the comic character! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
