Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). It also had some tears and small paper loss in the "EX" of the title and a horizontal tear in the bottom of the "NE". Either before or after the poster was backed, it was displayed, and the reds in the poster faded. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but either the restorer did not address the fading issue, or it occurred after it was backed.
