Whiteney Picture"; based on the novel by Alan Le May) starring John Wayne (as Ethan Edwards), Jeffrey Hunter, Vera Miles, Ward Bond, Natalie Wood, John Qualen, Olive Carey, Henry Brandon, Hank Worden, Robert Lyden, Walter Coy, Pippa Scott, Lana Wood, Dorothy Jordan, Beulah Archuletta, and Dorothy Jordan NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. There are pencil marks around John Wayne's credit at lower left and there is ink pen writing across the bottom edge and in the left of the top edge of the card. There is MUCH writing on the back of the card but it does not appear to have any effect on the front. There are some minor creases and tiny stains scattered throughout the card. Note that this lobby card has no tape whatsoever on the front or back, and has never had any restoration of any kind! Obviously, a talented restorer could repair the above defects, and the card will look fantastic after restoration, but please bear its defects in mind before placing a bid (and certainly, I can imagine most collectors happily displaying this card just as it is).
