An Original Vintage 11" x 14 1/4" [28 x 36 cm] Stage Play Still (Learn More) Maggie the Magnificent, the 1929 Broadway stage play production (of the work by George Kelly) starring James Cagney, Joan Blondell, J.P. Wilson, Frank Rowan, and Mary Cecil. Note that this Broadway play included James Cagney and Joan Blondell, each in very early Broadway appearances. Just one year later, they would both appear in the Broadway play "Penny Arcade", and when a movie version of it was made, both actors were signed for that. It was titled "Sinners' Holiday" and both were unknowns in very minor roles in their first movie appearances, but of course, both would go on to great stardom! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this stage play still, which measures 11" x 14 1/4" [28 x 36 cm], is beyond rare. We have never auctioned anything from this stage play, and it is unlikely that anything other than stills exists from it, and everything from it is surely beyond rare! Condition: very good.
