2000th Anniversary of Lyons, the 1957 French poster ("43 b.c."; "1957-1958") celebrating the existence of the city of Lyon, France. This poster features art of Lyon's coat-of-arms by Jean Desaleux. Lyon is the third-largest city in France. The city is known for its cuisine and historical and architectural landmarks, part of it is a registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Lyon played a significant role in the history of cinema because it is where Auguste and Louis Lumiere invented the cinematograph.

Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has a few pinholes, creases and tiny tears along portions of some edges (see our image)
