Slightly French, the 1948 Douglas Sirk movie-making acting romantic musical comedy ("Slightly French with a big accent on fun!"; "Hollywood's gayest romantic mix-up!"; "Gay, mad Hollywood mix-up!"; "Slightly French... and the accent's on comedy!"; about a movie director who discovers a beautiful singer in a carnival, and he decides to present her to the world as an elegant French singer) starring Dorothy Lamour, Don Ameche, Janis Carter, Willard Parker, Adele Jergens, and Jeanne Manet

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: good. The poster had a 2" x 4" area of triangular paper loss above and to the right of the top crossfold, affecting much of the girl's cheek, and extending through her elbow and into the background to the right. There was small paper loss at the other two crossfolds and some creases and small tears in the borders. There were pinholes, creases, and tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. Given the substantial defect, the poster was pretty well backed, but you can see clear signs of the restoration of the missing area at the top crossfold.
