Arthur Rackham was an English book illustrator and artist from the 1890s to the 1930s. Arthur was widely regarded as one of the leading illustrators from the "Golden Age" of British book illustration which roughly encompassed the years 1890 until the end of the First World War. He passed away in 1939 at the age of 71.
