Cooper & Lothar Mendes British-in-North-Africa military cavalry war desert romantic family relationship adventure thriller ("Paramount's New Sensation!"; "The Glorious Romance of 'Beau Geste' and the Thrills of 'Chang' Combined!"; based on the novel by A.E.W. Mason; one of David O. Selznick's earliest productions before working for RKO, and co-directed by the team who would soon give RKO King King, their greatest hit ever!) starring William Powell, Richard Arlen, Fay Wray, Clive Brook, Noah Beery Sr., Theodore von Eltz. Note that this movie was remade in 1939 by Zoltan Korda.
