She was also an Esquire model, "The Coca-Cola Girl", and she appeared in World War II pinups. She got a contract to Paramount Pictures, where she appeared in a few minor roles under her birth name of Alaine Brandes. She was unhappy with her parts, and she changed her name to Rebel Randall to express her dissatisfaction. She had little film success, but she became a star on radio in the 1950s as the only female Hollywood California DJ, where she was known as "the girl whose voice could melt an iceberg". She also made many headlines for her stormy marriages and her three divorces. Some of her movies include: Roaring City, Dead or Alive, and The Lone Ride in Ghost Town.
