Savage stage success by Franz Lehar, Victor Leon and Walter Stein"; about a pretty showgirl who travels to a mythical European country, and both the Crown Prince and another nobleman fall in love with her, but the king won't let either of them marry her, so she marries the richest man in the country; he dies on their wedding night in the throes of passion, and she goes back to Paris, after inheriting a fortune, and she throws lavish parties and is known as "The Merry Widow"; many more events happen before she is ultimately united with her true love) starring Mae Murray (in the title role "as the Widow"), John Gilbert ("as the Prince"), Roy D'Arcy, George Fawcett, Tully Marshall, Sally O'Hara, Josephine Crowell, and Clark Gable (as one of the ballroom dancers; in one of his 14 uncredited roles prior to making his real debut in 1931's "The Painted Desert"). The card has darkened and is somewhat fragile. There are creases, tears, paper loss, and surface paper loss around the edges, with a pinhole in each corner and brown staining down the right. There is a tiny tear in the lower center of the inset image, with a few tiny scuffs in the lower right of the image.
