A 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Music Publicity Still (Learn More) Del Shannon was a rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) and country singer and songwriter from the 1950s to the 1980s. He is best known for his song "Runaway". Some of his other hits include: Hey! Little Girl, Two Kinds of Teardrops, Handy Man, and Stranger in Town. Sadly, after years of drinking and a bout of depression, Shannon committed suicide in 1990. He was 55 years old. He had been prescribed Prozac at the time of his death, which may have contributed to his suicidal urge. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm].
