An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Monster Late Show, a early 1980s Halloween "spook show", where a theater showed a double bill of two unnamed horror films. This poster includes the taglines "2 orgies of evil in one big spine-tingling horror and chill show!" and "Don't dare come alone!". Note that they put (in tiny letters) "So shocking we can't advertise what's in it!", which seems to guarantee that they were two TERRIBLE movies that they were showing! The poster also mentions a "Live Grave Dig" audience participation event. This seems like a 1980s attempt to revive the Spook Shows of the 1930s to early 1960s, and we don't know if 1980s audiences were as receptive to this concept! If anyone knows more about this specific spook show or this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: very good. The poster has darkened somewhat and there is clear tape on the back of each corner, where it was attached to a wall.
