Seppuku (released in English-speaking countries as "Harakiri"), the 1962 Masaki Kobayashi Japanese Samurai ritual suicide melodrama ("The world has never understood why the Japanese prefer death to dishonor!"; "Winner of Prix Special du Jury at Cannes 1963 provides the answer!!") starring Tatsuya Nakadai, Shima Iwashita, Akira Ishihama, Yoshio Inaba, Rentaro Mikuni, Masao Mishima, Tetsuro Tamba, Ichiro Nakaya, and Yoshio Aoki

Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned three examples of this rare poster in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Japanese movie! Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 15 1/4" x 20" [39 x 51 cm]. Finally, note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: fair to good. The poster has much discoloration with some deterioration and paper loss along portions of the upper edge (see our image).
