An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Phantom Raiders, the 1940 Jacques Tourneur Panama cargo ship detective mystery crime thriller ("A New Nick Carter Adventure"; "Never more thrills in one amazing mystery!"; "Murder... by long distance!"; adapted from the popular pulp magazine character) starring Walter Pidgeon (as Nick Carter), Florence Rice, Joseph Schildkraut, John Carroll, Donald Meek, Nat Pendleton, Steffi Duna, and Cecil Kellaway NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster had creases, tears, and some tiny areas of paper loss across the top and bottom horizontal folds and there was some tiny paper loss and tears in the bottom quarter of the vertical foldline, with a lesser amount of wear on the other folds. There were pinholes, creases, and tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the partial restoration of the above defects. Note that the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster. Learn More about condition grades
