An Original 1974 (from the first release of this movie in Germany) Vintage Theatrical Folded German "A1" Movie Poster (measures 23" x 33" [58 x 84 cm]) (Learn More) Ciao! Manhattan, the 1972 John Palmer & David Weisman New York drug-addiction thriller (about a beautiful model who has done too many drugs and suffered permanent brain damage, and her last days) starring Edie Sedgwick (a once glamorous model and Andy Warhol protege whose life tragically paralleled the fictional life of the star of this movie; she died of a drug overdose in 1971, and this movie is patched together with scenes from an unfinished movie she made in 1967, combined with new footage; apparently, the movie is a really disturbing mess!), Wesley Hayes, Isabel Jewell, Geoff Briggs, Paul America, Viva, Roger Vadim, and Charlie Bacis NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an very rare poster that was used for the premiere of this movie in Germany, with multiple positive and negative images of Edie Sedgwick, in different colors. We have only auctioned this poster once before (in 2016 and it sold for $602!). Condition: very good. The poster has light fold and border wear. There are some tiny diagonal creases around the center crossfold and there is a small amount of fine surface paper loss at the top crossfold. The rare poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition and it displays well! Learn More about condition grades
