An Autographed 3" x 5" Index Card with Color 8" x 10" REPRO Still (Learn More) Angela Lansbury was an English actress from the 1940s to 2022. She is probably best remembered for her role as Jessica Fletcher in TV's "Murder She Wrote". Some of her movies include: Gaslight (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), National Velvet, The Picture Of Dorian Gray (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Manchurian Candidate (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and Beauty and the Beast. Oddly, she looked older than her years in her earliest movies, but then she pretty much stopped aging, for several decades! She passed away in 2022 at the age of 96. Important Added Info: Note that this index card has been personally autographed (signed) by Angela Lansbury. Also included is an 8" x 10" REPRO still that the index card could be matted and framed together with! Also note that this lot comes with a "certificate of authenticity" that states the signature is guaranteed authentic. Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who purchased the collection of a dedicated collector, who was a major film buff from the 1950s through the 1990s. He would purchase stills on stars he liked, and then he would go to events or collectibles shows (he went to virtually every collectibles show where stars appeared!), and he would get the items autographed, and many of his photos were personalized to him with nice inscriptions, because over time many of the celebrities who regularly attended shows came to be friends with him! Over many years he was able to acquire a large number of signed stills, and his collection was purchased by our consignor. In this set of auctions we are auctioning the last of his autographed items (and we auctioned others in past "all signed" auctions). We feel certain that the autographs on these items are authentic!
