William Addison Dwiggins was a type designer, calligrapher, book designer, and artist from the 1910s to the 1950s. He began his career working in advertising and lettering, and attained prominence as an illustrator and commercial artist. He also had a love of wood carving, which led to his creation of two small marionette theatres. He passed away in 1956 at the age of 76. Note that the items in this lot are mostly from the 1910s. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of the front and back of all of them. Measurements: 3 1/2" x 5 1/2"Condition: good to very good.
