Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. It is difficult to know what defects the poster had before backing and after, so we will just describe it as it is, because it isn't that important (what is important is that the poster sorely needs additional restoration). The poster has creases and tears around the edges, with creases and tears scattered throughout. It is very much "lifting" from the bottom of the linen, and it has a long tear 3" from the bottom of the linen. If I had this cool and very rare poster, I would surely immediately have a talented restorer remove it from the old linen and properly re-back it, after which it will surely display well, but bear in mind its very substantial defects and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
