4 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (measure 11" x 14") (Learn More)

Rachel and the Stranger, the 1948 Norman Foster romantic love triangle cowboy western ("Once was a man, a married man... Who couldn't see the danger Until one day, one fateful day... Along came a Tall, Dark Stranger!"; "The Man Who Bought Her...The Tall, Dark Stranger Who Sought Her!"; "When hot blooded men fight over a woman! Not even the Indians can match them for savagery!"; "A bare-fisted love feud!") starring Loretta Young ("Academy Award Winner - 1947"; in the title role as Rachel Harvey), William Holden, Robert Mitchum, Gary Gray, Tom Tully, and Frank Conlan. Note that after production of this film ended, Mitchum was arrested for smoking pot. Rather than destroy his career (as he reportedly lamented), this film was immediately released and did very well at the box office, in spite of attempts by some show business columnists to boycott all films starring Mitchum!

Condition: good. Note that the top three cards in our image have had their top borders trimmed off. The top card in our image was used to advertise a different movie, and the entire back has been painted over with red and yellow paint, but it really does not affect the front. The fourth card in our image is untrimmed and is in pretty good condition.
