Note that we have auctioned hundreds of "key book" stills that were removed from bound volumes, but this is only the fourth time we have ever had an actual real entire key book from before 1940! Collectors who obtained these would take all of the stills out and sell them individually, so certainly very, very few complete key books survive, and it is likely that ones from the 1910s, like this one, are virtually non-existent from ANY movie! OUR CONSIGNOR ACQUIRED THIS KEYBOOK AND TWO OTHERS FROM DIFFERENT MOVIES, AND WE AUCTIONED THE OTHER TWO PREVIOUSLY (and we had also auctioned one other long before that). OTHER THAN THESE FOUR KEY BOOKS, WE HAVE NEVER AUCTIONED ANY OTHERS, AND MANY YEARS COULD GO BY BEFORE YOU FIND ANOTHER ONE OF THESE, IN OUR AUCTION, OR IN ANY AUCTION (so this may well be your final last chance to buy an actual key book for many years to come)! Measurements: 8 1/2" x 11 1/2"Of course The Silver King is the 1919 George Irving silent mining melodrama (based on the play by Henry Arthur Jones) starring William Faversham, Barbara Castleton, Lawrence Johnson, John Sutherland, and Warburton Gamble. Condition: good to very good. The key book stills are all still attached. There is a tear at the top left of the cover at the spine, and there are some stains on the front cover and some light stains on the back of some of the key book stills and some minor wear on the borders (see our images).
