An Autographed Color 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More) Stan Musial (nicknamed "Stan the Man") was an professional baseball player in Major League Baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1941 to 1963. Musial was a record 24-time All-Star selection (tied with Willie Mays), and is widely considered to be one of the greatest hitters in baseball history. He also compiled 475 home runs during his career, was named the National League's Most Valuable Player (MVP) three times, and won three World Series championship titles. Musial was a first-ballot inductee to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1969, and was the longest tenured living Hall of Famer until he passed away in 2013 at the age of 92. Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who was a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1980s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items, and over the years he did not re-sell any of the autographed items. Now he has gathered up together all of his autographed items and consigned them to us.
