An Autographed 10" x 14" [25 x 36 cm] Color REPRODUCTION Photo (Learn More) Alexey Arkhipovich Leonov was a Russian cosmonaut, fighter pilot, writer and artist from the 1960s to the 2010s. In 1965, Alexey become the first human to conduct extravehicular activity during a 12 minute spacewalk. He passed away in 2019 at the age of 85. AND Valery Nikolaevich Kubasov was a Russian cosmonaut and aerospace engineer from the 1950s to the 2010s. He was awarded the title Hero Of the Soviet Union twice, and helped perform the first welding experiment in space. He passed away in 2014 at the age of 79. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION photo has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH Alexey Leonov AND Valery Kubasov! Our consignor ran autograph shows for many years and was an executive director of UACC for many years, and in the case of this REPRODUCTION photo, it is personalized to him by both cosmonauts. He became friendly with many of the stars who appeared at his shows and most of the items from him in this auction are ones where he obtained the autograph in person. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are 100% certain the signatures are authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
