Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded and it had a 5" tear near the middle of the right border, and a 2" tear in the left border, in the background above the man's head. It also had some partial horizontal creases scattered throughout. It had tears scattered in the right blank border, with some faint staining and creases scattered in the lower half of the right border. It had some faint staining and two tears in the right of the bottom border and a few small tears and creases in the rest of the blank borders. There was faint scuffing in part of the bottom area that says "A Universal Picture". Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was backed on linen with no restoration and no excess. Because most of the defects are in the blank borders, and because the creases within the image are not very noticeable, the poster can certainly be displayed exactly as it is, or one might choose to have additional restoration performed. Either way, the new owner will have an incredibly rare poster to display on their wall! Learn More about condition grades
