An Original Vintage Unfolded Special Theatrical Movie Poster (measures 18 1/2" x 23 3/4") (Learn More) The Graduate, the classic 1968 Mike Nichols (winner of the Best Director Academy Award for this film) coming-of-age romantic melodrama ("'Benjamin do you find me undesirable?' 'Oh, no Mrs. Robinson. I think you're the most attractive of all my parents' friends.'"; "This is Benjamin. He's a little worried about his future."; "'Mrs. Robinson, you're trying to seduce me...aren't you?'"; "Screenplay by Calder Willingham and Buck Henry"; "Songs by Paul Simon performed by Simon and Garfunkel"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; about a college graduate who becomes involved with the wife of his father's business partner and then romances her daughter) starring Anne Bancroft (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; as Mrs. Robinson), Dustin Hoffman (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; as Benjamin Braddock), Katharine Ross (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film; as Elaine Robinson), William Daniels (as Mr. Braddock), Murray Hamilton (as Mr. Robinson), Elizabeth Wilson (as Mrs. Braddock), Buck Henry (who wrote the screenplay, as the "Room Clerk"), Brian Avery (as Carl), Norman Fell (as Mr. McCleery), and a young Richard Dreyfuss (in a bit part, but he does have two lines!) Important Added Info: Note that Vista was an organization in the late 1960s that was like a domestic version of the Peace Corps, that let teenagers volunteer to help their country in non-violent ways, and perform their service within the United States. Recognizing the popularity of "The Graduate", the Vista organization made this wonderful poster, asking "What'll you do after you graduate?", and also noting at the bottom "You can put off plastics for a year." (referring, of course, to the classic sequence in the movie where one of Braddock's parents' friends tells Hoffman that he only has one word for him, "plastics"!). Also note that this special poster measures 18 1/2" x 23 3/4" and that this poster was never machine folded! Condition: fine. There is a tiny tear in the right of the bottom border. There are very minor creases in the extreme left edge of the left border of the image. There are a few faint creases throughout the poster. Learn More about condition grades
