An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Good Dame (released in other English-speaking countries as "Good Girl"), the 1934 Marion Gering romantic gambling cheating carnival melodrama ("She was an Angel - but he played the Devil with her heart."; "She was too good to be true"; a very unusual movie, about a man who cheats people at cards for a living, and a peepshow performer in a carnival, and they form a business partnership, but not a romantic one; after trying to go straight, they are both arrested, and the man pleads before the judge to sentence him, but to spare the girl, and the judge is so moved by his passionate speech that he drops the charges against both of them and marries them on the spot!) starring Sylvia Sidney, Fredric March, Jack La Rue, Noel Francis, Russell Hopton, and William Farnum NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass.
