An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Robert Stack was an eternally youthful TV and movie actor from the 1930s to the 2000s. Some of his roles include: To Be or Not to Be, The Mortal Storm, The High and the Mighty, Written On The Wind (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), The Last Voyage, and he had a great success late in his career with a comedy appearance in Airplane! He is probably best remembered for his role as Eliot Ness in TV's "The Untouchables", and as the host of TV's "Unsolved Mysteries". He passed away in 2003 at the age of 84. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Robert Stack! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahoney Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him).
