Original Vintage Theatrical Lobby Card (Measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Cry of the Werewolf, the 1944 Henry Levin New Orleans Louisiana female werewolf monster gypsy horror thriller ("Shiver... as strange voodoo rites are revealed!"; "When the bells toll at midnight... Werewolves prowl the Earth!") starring Nina Foch, Stephen Crane, Osa Massen, Blanche Yurka, and Barton MacLane. Note that a year earlier, Columbia Pictures made "The Return of the Vampire" (which also included Nina Foch), which had a full fledged werewolf in it, but in this movie, the "werewolf" is actually a woman who turns into a literal wolf, making it much more like Val Lewton's "Cat People"! The opening credits have a wolf eating them as they appear on the screen! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: NOTE: In this case, the #2 in the title of the auction is not the number of the lobby card (whenever we know the number of a lobby card we list it for those of you who know which scenes you are looking for). In this case, the cards from this particular set were un-numbered, but because we are selling more than one card from this set this week as separate eBay auctions, we needed to differentiate the auctions, and we do so by marking them "#2, #3, etc. (Note that we do not use #1, because this is commonly used to signify the title card). Condition: very good to fine. There is scuffing in between Foch and Crane (some are slightly in Foch's face). There is minor creasing in the blank corners. Learn More about condition grades
