'for its Passionate Originality' Venice Film Festival"; about the life of Luis Procuna, with flashbacks) featuring Luis Procuna (billed "as himself"), "the world's greatest matadors" Manolete and Carlos Arruza, Consuela Procuna, and Luis Castro. Note that the credited writer for this documentary is "Hugo Mozo" who is actually Hugo Butler. Butler was blacklisted during the "red scare" and went to Mexico City with other blacklisted writers including Dalton Trumbo in the early 1950s! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
