The monster is loose!"; "Based upon the Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley Story"; "Adapted by John L. Balderston from the play by Peggy Webling"; the first of the Universal "Frankenstein" movies, and regarded as one of the finer movies of any genre, in large part due to the marvelous acting of Boris Karloff, and the marvelous direction of James Whale!) starring Colin Clive (as Dr. Herbert V. Important Added Info: Note that this still is unmarked, but our consignor tells us that it is from the 1951 Realart re-release (and we believe he is correct, and there are undated stamps from a poster exchange on the back; see our image). Condition: very good. There are four tiny pinhole in the blank borders near each corner and some faint creases around the edges, but they are mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light. There is slight darkening on the back of the borders, but not on the front. Otherwise, the still is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
