An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Australian Daybill Movie Poster (db; measures 13 1/4" x 30" [34 x 76 cm]) (Learn More)

The Invisible Boy, the 1957 Herman Hoffman science fiction (sci-fi) thriller ("The science-monster who would destroy the world!"; "Horror grips the earth as robot runs amok!"; "Screen Play by Cyril Hume"; "Based On The Story By Edmund Cooper") starring Richard Eyer, Philip Abbott, Diane Brewster, Harold Stone, Robert H. Harris, and Robby the Robot (who was so memorable in "Forbidden Planet" the year before). Note that there are those who speculate that one of the main reasons Robby the Robot appears in this movie is because MGM had spent a LOT of money creating him for Forbidden Planet, and they wanted to recoup some of that money by casting him in another film!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: good. The poster has slight discoloration scattered in some areas from exposure to moisture (more so in the lower third and along the folds). There are a few creases and tiny tears in some portions of the edges and folds (see our image). Certainly a competent restorer could repair the defects described above, but please bear in mind the cost of restoration before placing a bid.
