The Catman of Paris, the 1946 Lesley Selander France crime mystery feline cat monster horror thriller (about an author who goes to France at the turn of the century, and as soon as he arrives, savage killings from a "cat-like creature" start, and he has mysterious blackouts that make him an extreme suspect, but all is cleared up at the end of this 60-minute movie!) starring Carl Esmond, Lenore Aubert, Adele Mara, Douglass Dumbrille, Gerald Mohr, Fritz Feld, and Robert J. Wilke (uncredited in the title role as The Catman)

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had creases and scuffs on the top fold, with creases, small tears, and smudges around the edges and smudges in the top left and right background areas. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
