An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 9 3/4" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) John Candy was an actor from the 1970s to the 1990s. He rose to prominence on the Canadian "SCTV" show, and then switched to TV's "Saturday Night Live". Soon after, he made his mark in classic comedies (and some not so classic) including: Stripes, Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, Delirious, Only the Lonely, Canadian Bacon, The Great Outdoors, Cool Runnings, Uncle Buck, and Spaceballs. He passed away in 1994 at the age of 43 from a heart attack. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by John Candy! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this still measures 8" x 9 3/4" [20 x 25 cm], but it has not been trimmed. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: good.
