What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had paper loss at many crossfolds and some tears and paper loss on parts of many folds, with some other paper loss scattered throughout the poster. There were also some pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. Given the poster's many defects, a really talented restorer did a very nice job of making the poster presentable. It will look nice on the new owner's wall, but you can clearly see signs of the restoration.
