Salvador Dali Museum, which is a museum in St. Petersburg, Florida which houses the largest collection outside Europe of the works of the artist Salvador Dali. The museum opened March 7th, 1982 and moved to a new location in 2008. In addition to displaying the work of Dali, the museum aims to educate the public and promote understanding, enjoyment and scholarly examination of art through the exhibition of works by Dali and artists of similar vision.
