An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) While Satan Sleeps, the 1922 Joseph Henabery silent mistaken identity minister cowboy western ("Based on the novel 'The Parson of Panamint' by Peter B. Kyne"; about a tough cowboy who escapes from jail, and buys a parson's suit from a pawn shop, and goes to a different town and poses as a tough parson, and he manages to unite both the religious people and the barroom crowd, and find love; at the end, he is discovered and goes back to jail, but his girl waits for him!) starring Jack Holt, Wade Boteler, Mabel Van Buren, Fritzi Brunette, and Will Walling. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good. A small amount of the black tape is missing, but the slide otherwise in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
