Al Capp (born Alfred Gerald Caplin) was an cartoonist and humorist best known for his comic strip, Li'l Abner, which he created in 1934. Capp also created Fealess Dosdick, a parody of Dick Tracy, and lampooned several celebrities in his comics! He passed away in 1979 at the age of 70.

Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Al Capp! It is an agreement between Mr. Capp and the William Morris Agency to act as his agent, and it is on Al Capp stationery with an image of Li'l Abner. Also note that the item comes with a "certificate of authenticity" from Piece of the Past, Inc.
