Don't Bet on Blondes, the 1935 Robert Florey romantic gambling comedy ("6 laff stars in a howling hit!"; a clever premise of a broke Kentucky Colonel who sponges off his rich actress daughter, and he is afraid she will get married, so he finds a rich gambler who sells him "insurance" against his daughter getting married, which might cut off his allowance, and the gambler scares away potential boyfriends, but then naturally, the gambler falls in love with the daughter himself!) starring Warren William, Guy Kibbee, Claire Dodd, William Gargan, Vince Barnett, Hobart Cavanaugh, and Errol Flynn (in one of his pre-Captain Blood bit parts, and his first American movie where he had dialog!)
