The Gaunt Stranger (released in the U.S. in 1939 as "The Phantom Strikes"), the 1938 Walter Forde English mystery crime thriller ("Edgar Wallace's greatest comedy thriller!"; "Edgar Wallace's greatest thriller"; "Adapted from Edgar Wallace's 'The Ringer'"; the now familiar story of an unknown villain who announces he is going to kill someone and that no one can stop him, and a police inspector and his surgeon assistant must figure out who it is, but everyone is a suspect) starring Sonnie Hale (billed as "Sonny Hale"), Wilfrid Lawson, Louise Henry, Alexander Knox, and Patricia Roc. Note that this was the fourth time this movie had been remade, and it would be remade several times later!

Condition: good to very good. Each has of the cards has some light scuff marks scattered in various areas and a few of them have some transfer marks from grease pencil at upper right. The cards are otherwise in pretty nice condition and they have no tape whatsoever on the front or back, and they never have had any restoration of any kind!
